"Battle Approved...Battle Approved! The Following area is now closed off for a zoid battle!"
Battlefield:
Open desert, with a minor breeze. Time to time, wind might kick up, but not enough to do anything. Its about 2:34pm, slightly cloudy, and a 0% chance of rain. Now you know pretty much the weather for the area. You two start at footballs length away, pretty much. The area is kinda hilly, so you can expect the opponent to drop from view, and rise time to time.
"This is a one on one sanctioned battle between Team Sniper's Sextus Orange agaisnt Fury's Marix. Battle Code 0099 is in affect! Contender's REady!?!?! FIGHT!

Unlike other armor platings NanoTech is bonded to a zoids base armor and does not require any external hard points. The unique properties of this armor allow it to regenerate damage and alter its physical properties. This armor can regenerate 30 armor points to any damaged section each round, up to two sections can regenerate each round. NanoTech armor is also able to alter is physical structure to harden it self against certain types of damage (Heat, Energy, explosive, slashing or stabbing damage, etc). A charging feat must be used to activate this feature and the type of damage must be stated. While active this feature will reduce damage from the chosen type by 40%. Armor Points: 50 per section

Battle Narrative:
One battle at a time. I just gotta do my part like always. Alright Ngwenya, you’ve gotta pre-lunch workout bigger than you today. I hope you’re up for it.
Sextus waited in his usual trance. Random images were flashing across his screens as Sextus pretended to play piano with his visual controls. The music was blaring, and, as usual, drowned out the judge as he announced the start of the battle. Sextus quickly noticed the words “Ready. Fight!” take over each of his screens. If it wasn’t for his custom text alert, he would never know when the battles started.
“Alright. Time to prove that da Orange Funk is still king of the rodeo. Let’s do this!” Sextus said to himself as charged his nanotech armor to optimally defend against energy damage.
Ngwenya’s internal systems were humming in anticipation, or that’s what Sextus hoped it was. This was set to be a ferocious battle between two Zoids with similar weaponry. Even against a behemoth like a Savage Dragon, Sextus just had to think clearly and execute properly to prevail. And though he suspected that all pilots probably feel that they are superior to their opponents, Sextus was confident that he was justified in feeling so.
With his eagerness and adrenaline now unbridled, Sextus took in the range of the Savage Dragon from his radar. His first attempt came back in unreadable wave as the radar bounced erratically off of the dunes.
I guess line of sight will have to do for now. He couldn’t have gotten too far yet.
When Sextus reached the summit of the dune, he stood Ngwenya on his hind legs and peered as far across the desert as possible. A few hundred yards ahead, the Savage Dragon was visible against the sand. A timely mortar volley would be perfect for rattling the pilot before he got into the skies. With a quick flip of a switch, Sextus applied a filter to his screens to reduce sun glare and began targeting the Savage Dragon’s large frame with his mortar cannons. The satisfying chorus of the mortar tubes booming out their explosives sounded quite in tune and looked on target. The sand thrown about made the whole thing look rather like a military bomb testing video.
Activating his comm link to his opponent, Sextus taunted, “Sorry, all flights are cancelled due to heavy rain. Really heavy rain.”
If the Savage Dragon’s pilot had any brains, he would be trying to get into the air where he would be somewhat smaller of a target. Sextus didn’t intend to let him off too easy though. As the Savage Dragon hunched down to propel itself into the air, Sextus zeroed his Double 80 Cal Rifles in on the first hundred meters above the Savage Dragon. The Savage Dragon leapt towards the sky spiraling and swerving as much as possible. Sextus kept the Dragon just his sights for a couple of moments while he allowed the dragon to gain a little altitude. The further vertically and less laterally Sextus was shooting, the less he would have to lead the flying mass when he shot. Just as the dragon began getting close to what Sextus called “wussy altitude”, Sextus exhaled and gently squeezed the trigger. He watched momentarily as the shots streaked into the sky after the Savage Dragon.
Another moment passed before Sextus spotted a flash in the sky. It wasn’t from his shots either. The Savage Dragon was tougher than that, which left only one possibility. It was an incoming shot being fired. Sextus’ brain jumped into survival mode, leaving him struggling to decipher the genius thoughts from the nervous ones. A fraction of a second later, he had latched on a course of action. Turning Ngwenya to his right, Sextus sent him barreling along the ridge of the dune. This was the quickest way to put distance between himself and the shots’ target location since running up and down the slopes of the dunes wasted potential ground distance on vertical changes.
Well, I’d say I’ve had a pretty good start. I can’t wait to see how much guts this pilot has.
Once he had run a few hundred meters, Sextus swung Ngwenya around and began scanning the desert once again. The Savage Dragon was still close enough for a shot when Sextus spotted it. He dug Ngwenya’s paws deep into the sand and straightened his posture in preparation for his shot. The screens in the cockpit shuddered on their mounts as the 80 Cal rifles reached out for the Savage Dragon’s body again. Releasing his finger from the trigger, Sextus threw Ngwenya into a slide down the opposite side of the dune. While in the crevice of the dunes, he would have some protection from the Savage Dragon’s attacks, at least until it got a little closer.

Battle:
“READY FIGHT” was all Marix could hear after zoning out all distractions. At that moment he immediately takes off into the air as the enemy bear fighter fires his mortar. While in the air Marix surveyed the area to see what he had to work with. “Dunes and sand. Think we can handle it?” Marix asked his zoid which replied with a RAWWWWWR.
Now in the air Marix takes for the skies with full throttle. Doing a mid-air barrel roll to dodge the incoming shots Marix dives straight for the Bear. When in range he lets loose a barrage of fire from his two hybrid cannons.
As he came back around Marix spotted the enemy preparing for another shot. Getting within range Marix let loose a great savage blast. Aiming for the area around the zoid. The dragons mouth opens and a bright red flame comes pouring out and engulfing the enemy zoid and the dune that he is behind.

Just call me Chuck Norris! Battle record: (w/l/d) 0/1/0
Battle starts off...pew pew pow pow....birds flying around crashing into trees...ITS CRAZY! MADNESS!....Madness...THis is ...no no Leonitus this is my show get away!.....and back to our normal scheduled program....the migration of GEESE..ya thats right Geese!
Ok...so this was a kinda one sided battle, I'd have to start off by saying; study and look over you opponent's stats before Accepting a challenge.
Sextus goes on the move, charging his nano tech armor for no reason, then firing off his mortar in attempts to wake up the savage dragon. Despite the laws of psyhics...I mean who cares we're flying zoids <.< right...the overly large and very slow and very ..whats a good word for little agile...agiless <.< yea I made that up...Savage Dragon managed to pull off a very eye-opening and rare display of a barrell roll (will get into this later); and returned fire. Having positioned himself well in the hills, however, Sextus managed to avoid the attack with ease. Thus the play of pilot stamina came into play, Marix's stamina on empty thus leaving him open to Sextus's last two attacks which just barely (20dp overkill) managed to finish off the Savage Dragon.
The Low Down:
Basically the deal here was Marix you only had 1 mental action, which allowed you for one dodge and one attack. The second dodge and attack you did, don't know why you even attempted, was completely ignored as you don't have enough mental actions to do so.
That was the biggest deal of the outcome, as since you had no way of dodging; it was just pretty much an auto hit, which I would of ignored sometimes given how Sextus rp'd his attacks; but he did well on describing them, so wasn't much I could do to help you on that one.
I could go on, but thats mainly the issue with this battle; it wasn't a good decision on your part to take the challenge. I'd suggest waiting another GL and putting some points into Mental Ability soon..and then studying some other battles before getting back out there next time.
[sidenote: Don't forget that the Savage Dragon isn't a little zoid , though it is a air zoid; barrel rolls aren't an easy feat for it. But I let you off the hook given your first battle.]
Either way.
WIn for Sniper; Standar WInnings to Sextus - 10Rp points extra from me added to that.
Loss for Fury, standard Losings which I think is nothing - but 3 Rp for trying I guess.
